ST.CHARLES HOME FOR SENIOR CITIZENS
St.Charles home for senior citizens is a home for those who wish to spend the evening of their lives in a serene and Spiritual atmosphere. It is managed by the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Charles Borromeo. It is a home where loneliness is replaced by companionship.
The elderely deserve our respect and gratitude for all that they are to us and to Society.A senior citizen has the right to life, freedom and fulfillment, relaxation and peace.It makes a difference when love and compassion are expressed in action.
The steady security in an old age home gives them protection from intruders and helps them live a safe and secure life. One of the factors that make old age homes attractive to elders is the companionship. They are in constant company of people their own age.
Vision: The sisters of St. Charles Borromeo incarnate the compassionate love of God to all people.
Today more than ever our senior citizens are looking for a safe haven, love , care and compassion in the even-tide of their life. We desire to motivate in them a cheerful outlook and thereby help to bring zest and joy in their lives.

- To provide a home where the senior citizens live in peace, security and love.
- Every possible convenience is provided to spend time in prayer, recreation and relaxation.
The home and its Milieu
Charles home for senior citizens is constructed away from the din of the city, 6 kilometers from Kalyan station and 3 kilometres from Shahad station. It is of Kalyan, Murbad Road. Tabor ashram is about 2 Kilometers from the home.
The residents of the home form part of the family where a community of sisters together with the staff caters to the Spiritual, physical and psychological needs. In order to provide a peaceful and joyful atmosphere, it is essential that the residents live in love and harmony with one another.
A panoramic view of the surrounding hills and the garden of the Home invite the residents for regular walks and physical exercise.
