All began through Sr. Anto S who was novice mistress had gone for Formation and Culture of African Tradition in Kenya, met a priest from Nebbi Catholic Diocese and recruited three girls from the diocese and sent. Finally, only Sr.Beatrice Berocan made it till today. Before her first vows the Regional Council by then decided with the General Council under the guidance of by then Superior General Sr. Christy Saroj Amaladass to establish the community in Nebbi Catholic Diocese. Sr. Sagaya Mary Raju the Regional Superior, her councilors Sr. Juliana D’ Souza and Sr. Sudha communicated to the Bishop of Nebbi Rt. Rev. Bishop Sanctus Lino Wanok and by then Chancellor of the diocese Fr. Denis Ocanda.
In 2013 inspired by the Lord and guided by the Holy spirit Sisters Sagaya Mary Raju, then Regional Superior and Lilly Mascarenahas, former Regional Superior, on 15th August accompained by Fr. John Francis CMF came to Uganda. They stayed in Claritian house in Kampala. They attended an ordination of one of the Claritian Fathers in Soroti Diocese.
On 20th August sisters were received by the Chancellor and on the following day they met, Rev. Bishop Sanctus Lino Wanok of Nebbi. The invitation letter from the bishop is attached.
After a brief meeting, sisters were taken around the diocese to different parishes; lastly, on 24th August they were taken to the unfinished priest’s house in Nebbi town. Sisters liked the place and communicated to the Superior General. Finally, diocese sold present Nebbi house.
